Another awesome garage upgrade birthday present from my amazing in-laws. This is a harbor freight 20 gallon parts washer. My plan is to fill it with Simple Green for parts soaking. Finally we test and tune the blasting cabinet and get a really great result on a part I couldn't clean up with the wire wheel. This is not a review video but I do impart some thoughts and opinions about the Central Pneumatic blast cabinet.

Below are the products seen in this video. None of these are sponsored, I paid for all of them with the exception of the parts washer. My in-laws bought it for me for my birthday. They weren't sponsored either though. Finally, as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Again, this isn't a review video but I'm attaching my initial thoughts and opinions are here:
Regarding the Eastwood B40, it seems like a quality unit. The sheet metal feels thicker than the HF unit. It was heavier and smaller. Unfortunately the damage affected the hinge and made it very difficult to open and close. The accessories feel on-par with HF quality or at least they didn't stand out in any way. In my opinion, the shipping packaging is entirely insufficient and would recommend if you get one to try to buy one from an Eastwood brick and mortar. The fact that the seams had rust in them concerns me that this wasn't a shipping issue. Also, the fact that everything was kind of thrown into the box itself was concerning. My biggest gripe is with Eastwood customer support, however, as I feel I was misled by the rep.
With all that said however, I'm glad I went with the HF unit instead. The height is better for me and I believe it has a larger interior capacity for parts. I do kind of wish it opened from the top but none of the parts I need to blast right now will have a problem fitting through the side door. There's no way to sugarcoat this, there is a TON of screws! This was a five hour build due to all the screws. Without my father-in-law's help it probably would've been even longer. It's super sturdy once built though, the air seal on the box seems good, and I'm extremely excited about using it.
